Having nothing to wear post-baby is starting to bum me out now. It’s been almost a month since we brought little Liza home and I’m still wearing the same old dresses I’ve been wearing since I was about 7 months pregnant! It’s seriously shopping time, but I still have some “leftovers” where my baby bump used to be, so I’m on the lookout for things that can camouflage my middle. Comfort is important, too. Also, is summer over yet? Because I want to wear this outfit, but denim in 100+ degrees makes me start to sweat just thinking about it.

Congrats on your design sponge feature! I’m 37-ish weeks pregnant, and have begun to obsess over post-partum/nursing friendly style. My 1st baby was born in November, so I wore cardigans over nursing tanks. Now I don’t want to leave my whole belly exposed when I’m nursing, but layers are totally out. And dresses don’t work well for nursing, and I don’t have that many comfy skirts in my closet (they’re all dressy/professional) so….
The dropped waist on the top is very nice and well paired with the rest of the outfit. Perhaps tops/dresses with empire waists could help too? Especially in light flowing fabrics like crepe and chiffon.
