      It’s funny she’s always held her writing utensils like that, even when she was super little.

    Love her little strawberry dress!

    I think it’s wonderful that you let her color the porch. :) I remember when I was younger my parents always got upset when we used chalk on anything to near the house. We were only aloud to use it on the walkway etc. I always that that was terrible. Come to think of it….I don’t really know way that was a rule since my parents are actually very open for all kinds of kids play and art. It was always a bummer though.

      Thanks! We don’t have an appropriate backyard to play in, and we live on kind of a busy road with a steep embankment down to the sidewalk, so I don’t like her playing out on the grass. But we do have a big porch, so we play there a lot. It’s black so it’s perfect for chalk. I guess it does look a little… untidy with scribbles all over it, but it comes right off with the hose.
